Cycletastic has won another round of FREE Dr bikes with a grant from Cycling UK and the Department of Transport.
We are pleased to be offering another 8 Dr Bikes to our local community
FREE FIX MY BIKE Sessions (Dr Bike) Saturdays and Sundays 10am -2pm.
Cycletastic is a community bike project that helps people use their bike as a mode of transport.
The Free Dr Bikes are running from the Cycletastic Bike Shed:
Number 1 Streatley Road Kilburn NW6 7LH (just off Willesden Lane)
These events are first come first served, socially distanced, out door events.
Please wear a mask when you come to the Shed. 1 bike per person.
We are here to help you get your bike into good shape to ride.
We can help you with any of the following Basics:
Brakes, Gears, Punctures, minor adjustments or safety checks.
Safety checks for newly bought second hand bikes.
New bike assembly and safety check.
If you have a job that is not in the basics list that needs sorting you can book a service on info@cycletastic.org.uk (this is a paid for service) and either drop it at a mechanic’s house or they will come to you.
Or
You can bring your bike to the Cycletastic shed Saturday Afternoon Drop Ins from 2pm and use our TOOL RESOURCE whilst getting help from a volunteer bike mechanic (subject to volunteer availability and weather) We ask that you make a minimum donation of £5 to do this and pay for parts.
We also have new and second hand parts for sale .
Please note our shed opens operate only when the weather is warm enough but
Free Fix My Bike sessions will continue through the colder weather . (9degrees and below)
If you are worried about riding on the road and keeping safe ask us about bike ability training when you see us with your bike. We can offer private booked lessons or you can book free ones here :
