You may be confused about where to register your bike in case it is stolen. Perhaps you didn’t even know this is an option. As well as physically marking your bike the police will also encourage you to register on a national database. This is where they will check first if they recover your bike.
The MET police are now indicating to the public where they will check first if they recover a stolen bike.
