Cycletastic has learned that Lonsdale Road recently converted to a one way street was not included in the recent ‘Streets For People’ planning or consultation. This road connecting the BEST residential area to Queens Park and most importantly Salusbury Primary School was previously the safest and most direct route for cycling to the school. Pupils and visitors to the farmers market not to mention the popular bar/restuarant Hugo’s now face a longer and busier route to get to the school or the option of travelling the East to West direction on Lonsdale road illegally.
