Thanks to everyone that has supported Cycletastic through 2010. It has been an exciting year with the installation of our bike shed, numerous Dr Bikes and a new ‘try a bike’ event. We once again supported The Big Lunch with our Dr Bike and ‘Pimp my Bike’ stands and have held our first maintenance classes.
We have developed a good base at our shed for receiving donated cycles and recycling bikes for local residents and have helped numerous locals fix and repair their cycles.
Now that now the weather is colder we will be unable to open the shed as regularly as we would like. Keep an eye on our website as we will publish on the calendar if we will be open on the weekends (normally by the preceding Thursday). It is likely that the shed will be opened only on an ad-hoc basis through until March. If you do have a repair we may be able to help you on a 1-1 basis please contact us through the website and we will try to put you in touch with someone that can help you fix the bike.
