Bike Maintenance Lessons with CycletasticÂ

                 These lessons are  FREE   There is  a suggested donation of £5  to continue the work of the Cycletastic project. There will be a parts charge for bike parts above £5
The workshops will also aim (wherever possible) to accommodate basic (group 1 see below) bike repairs for persons who use these saturday  workshops as a drop in facility.
 Who can attend? These bike maintenance workshops are open to all people of all ages with an interest to know how to maintain and fix their own bike. Booking is advisable to secure a place. There will also be spaces available for persons who show up on the day. (If attendance numbers allow !) Booking priority is for low income Brent residents.

The Maintenance Classes
There will be 2 fully qualified mechanics teaching 2 separate groups along side each other
Please bring your bike !! Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty
 Group 1 Beginners tuition will includeÂ
Puncture repair, brake block replacement, brake and cable replacement, minor gear adjustment. Minor adjustments and additional accessories. Bike maintenance cleaning.
 Group 2 Intermediate tuition could includeÂ
Wheel truing and wheel maintenance, chain replacement (Disc brake replacement. Gear adjustment and indexing Bottom bracket maintenance demonstration only ) Â The teaching content will aim to be flexible to the needs of the group and time available
