Community Bike Shed is open for pre-booked repairs or 1st come 1st served tomorrow 9am – 1pm – a basic safety check is £12.50 and your contribution to the project goes directly to the volunteer team some of which have limited incomes, and helps them learn valuable skills in bicycle maintenance.

1st Saturday of the month, just turn up. We operate on a first come first served basis. There is an access fee of £5 and then Labour/Tuition is provided on a donation basis. There are new or used parts available at very reasonable prices. If you are on a low income then we are happy for you to pay-what-you-can. Due to demand and time constraints we can only do the more basic repairs at these events. If you have the skills you may also work on your own using our tools.

Ad-Hoc Dates – CHECK THE CALENDAR. Provisional dates are listed for most of the cycling season however these are subject to change as our mechanics/volunteers also have day jobs and other commitments. To get a guaranteed repair slot it is best to book in your repair. Get in touch from the contacts page. If the shed is still indicated as open on a Saturday/Sunday you can just drop-in but please note acceptance of any additional repairs will be at the mechanics discretion and on a first-come-first serve basis. Repair work is chargeable at our advertised rates. Proceeds go directly to the mechanic working on your bike with a share taken for the upkeep of the project.
