Hi Kim. We now have a shed opening date confirmed for 17th March. Hope you can make it. We will have all our bikes available to see and if you select one that still requires a bit of reconditioning we will try and get it ready asap for you.

Kim. As the shed is manned by volunteers it is generally open on an ad-hoc basis. However we currently developing a schedule of regular opening times (once a month) starting from about Easter. If you would like to arrange a specific visit please email josie from our contacts page.

Please note that at present we have a limited availability of bikes.

We would like to purchase a used bike. Please could we come to the shed? when do you open the shed and where is it?

Update I have revised some of the information on our Items Available This now shows some guidance on our pricing and discounts. Over the coming weeks I hope to update the stock images to reflect what we have more accurately.

Hi Andrew

We actually have a couple of Trek bikes available although neither are currently serviced and suitable for the road. One I think is a small mountain bike size 26″ wheels and 16″ frame. The other I think may be a hybrid with 700c wheels and a slightly larger 18″ frame. Why not pop down to the shed on Saturday and have a look.

My son has just had both his wheels and the saddle stolen from his Trek 7.0.I have been qouted around £250 to get the bike fixed up- could you let me know if there is anywhere I can get second hand ,cheap bike parts as it is not worth spending that sort of money on this particular bike.(although its only nine months old and is (was) in very good condition.

Hi Andrew

If you try and get to the bike shed we may have suitable second hand spare parts and we will only ask for a donation to the project for you to have them. Use the calendar and contact page for more information about when the shed will be open. The next date (unconfirmed) is 2nd April we should be able to confirm this date in the coming week.

Hi,

I woundered if you could advise me- my son recently had his back and front wheel stolen along with his saddle. I have been quoted something like £250 by various bike shops in my area to get it back to its original condition.Is there any way that I can get advice about where I might find cheap wheels and other bits? His bike is A Trek 7.0.
